Medical Illustration
My first taste of this came in the Navy at Hospital Corpsman school at Balboa Naval Hospital (1971). I was asked by one of the petty officers to assist him in drawing in suture procedures over a carbon dust image that he had done. Little did I know that I would eventually be doing it all again, only some 30 odd years later! (Actually my mother wanted me to do this too!) My approach is to try and clarify, simplify and inform using my favorite tool, Adobe Illustrator.
